Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, which are intended to regulate the purchase of products and the provision of services at the ACV - Talha Wines Store, the ACV - Talha Wines, Lda. at Rua Frei Amador Arrais nº9, Shop 4, 7800-491 Beja, with the NIF / NIPC 513442340, called ACV Store - Talha Wines.
1. Legal Age
By making purchases at the ACV - Talha Wine Store you represent that you are of legal age to purchase alcoholic beverages in your home country, as well as not having any other legal impediment to purchase alcoholic beverages.
2. Accuary and Updated of Information
ACV - Vinhos de Talha will do everything possible to ensure that the products, prices and other content of this online store are always accurate.
If under any circumstances it is not possible to make available any of the products requested by the customer, or any information is inaccurate or out of date, either by human error or computer failure, ACV - Vinhos de Talha will contact the customer by email or telephone, and this You will be able to decide whether you want to change or cancel your order and receive a refund if you have already paid.
ACV - Vinhos de Talha reserves the right to change, without notice and at any time, all contents of this online store, including products, prices, promotions, services and commercial and usage conditions.The images that illustrate each products in the ACV- Talha Wines Store may differ from the product delivered.
Any product featured in this online store are subject to stockouts. In the event of a stockout in any product ordered, ACV - Vinhos de Talha will contact the customer, informing the situation and proposing alternatives. The customer may then decide to change or cancel the order and receive a refund if he has already paid.
Under Portuguese law, all prices displayed by the ACV - Talha Wines Store include the respective VAT rates in force. The promotions in the ACV - Talha Wine Store may not apply to the physical stores where our wines are present.
3. Orders, Payments and Shipping
3.1. – Orders
After of the completion of the order the costumer will receivea confirmation email, at the email address provided, with details of the chosen products, payments and shipping.We recommend confirming all information to avoid errors. In the case of the customer has already paid the order, and if the order hasn´t yet been shipped, ACV - Vinhos de Talha will refund to the customer the full amount paid. If the customer wishes to cancel the order after it has already been shipped, the refunded amount will be deducted from the shipping and return, is 2 (twice) the shipping costs paid.
Any order is only processed after it´s payment, except for orders with pick-up and payment option ACV - Vinhos de Talha Winery, in Vila de Frades.
In the case of payment by bank transfer, sending the transfer receipt is considered non-binding information, so the order will only be processed after the availability of the amounts transferred in the ACV - Vinhos de Talha bank account, which usually takes 1 to 5 business days.
All orders placed in the ACV - Talha Wines Shop whose payment hasn´t been made within 15 days will be canceled.
The ACV - Talha Wines Store accepts the following payment methods:
- Multiple reference reference;
- Bank transfer;
- Directly in our traditional wine cellar.
The currency used for payments is the Euro (€). Any conversion rates for payments made in other currencies will always be supported by the customer.
3.3. Shipping Costs
The price of each product adds the value of the shipping costs, which is calculated taking into account the weight of the order and its delivery destination. The customer can simulate the value of shipping in the shopping cart by adding the desired products and filling in the required fields indicated (Country, Zip Code and Payment Method).
The value of postage also increases automatically at the end of the purchase.
4.1 Indicative Transit Time of Orders
After processing and shipping orders, delivery takes on average (estimated time):
- Beja: the same day or the next day;
- Continental Portugal: 2 business days;
- Azores and Madeira: 5 to 10 business days;
- Europe: 4 to 10 business days;
- Rest of the World: upon request.
These delivery times are purely indicative and may vary due to occurrences other than ACV - Talha Wines.
After the shipment of the order, the customer receives an email stating the shipping number and a link to track your order. If you don´t receive this email, after consulting your Spam folder, you should contact ACV - Vinhos de Talha at the following contacts: (+351) 935 109 541 or firstname.lastname@example.org resend the email.
4.2. Link to Orders
We recommend that you follow up your order via the link and shipping number provided to keep you informed of the status of your order until delivery, as ACV - Talha Wines doesn´t usually notify customers of each shipment status change.
4.3. How are Deliveries Processed
The ACV - Talha Wines Store orders are sent through carriers, that is, companies specializing in the transport of goods.
Usually, the carrier only makes an attempt to deliver to the customer's address, so we recommend choosing a delivery address where someone is always there to receive the order. If you aren´t at your address upon delivery, you will be notified by telephone and / or post to find out how to pick up your order from the store nearest your address.
The carrier only makes deliveries on business days and working hours, and it isn´t possible to schedule deliveries at a scheduled time or day, nor on weekends or holidays.
4.4. Order Check Upon Arrival / Product Damage
After receiving the order, the customer must immediately check the products received.
If the order arrives damaged (departure), you must return it at the same time to the carrier, justifying the reason for the return on the carrier's guide. If you notice any anomaly after delivery, you should immediately contact ACV - Vinhos de Talha, indicating the order number and attaching pictures of the packaging and the items as they arrived, so that we can find out and remedy the situation as soon as possible.
4.5. Meeting Delivery Times
For deliveries in Portugal and other countries, ACV - Vinhos de Talha contracts transport services to reputable and responsible companies, with several years of experience in the sector. Meeting deadlines is a priority; however, situations may occur that are beyond the will of ACV - Vinhos de Talha resulting in delays in meeting the indicative deadlines presented, and for which ACV - Vinhos de Talha can´t be held responsible.
We recommend that you place your orders in advance so that any delays in delivery can be filled, especially at festive times, when the volume of orders is generally higher.
ACV - Vinhos de Talha isn´t responsible for sending orders to countries where the law doesn´t allow the entry of alcoholic beverages, any seizure on the way or on arrival, or customs duties that may eventually be charged in the country of destination. .
The resolution with Customs or the payment of such fees is the sole responsibility of the customer.
In the case, the order is returned, ACV - Vinhos de Talha only refunds to the customer the amount spent on the products.

5. Right of Resolution
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 143/2001, Article 6, revised by Decree-Law No. 82/2008 of 20 May, the client has the right to terminate the contracts entered into with the ACV - Production and Trade of Talha Wines, Lda., Through ACV - Talha Wines, and may return the products purchased within 14 days and in accordance with current legislation, without giving any reason.
To return items, you should send us an email to email@example.com, indicating the order number and the invoice number, taking into account the following conditions: - Products must be in perfect condition and in their original packaging, in the same condition as they were shipped and without any marks or evidence of use; - Product return charges are borne by the customer; - In the case of defective products or wrong shipments, ACV - Vinhos de Talha is responsible for shipping and collection costs, whenever the customer informs the ACV - Vinhos de Talha within 14 days from the date of receipt of the product.
After a receipt and verification of the product at our facilities, an ACV - Talha Wines will return its value by the application used by the customer, or another initiate. No payment will be made by ATM Reference, or refund will be made by bank transfer to customer provided NIB / IBAN.
When the return is due to defects of origin or raw material, and upon receipt and verification at our premises, we will exchange the product at no cost to the customer.
We warn you, when buying old wines, you should be aware that, since the wine is a natural product subject to aging in bottle, it modifies its flavors, which may not please all consumers, even being able to consume. ACV - Vinhos de Talha takes special care with the preservation conditions of the wines it has in stock, but can´t guarantee that its evolution inside the bottle will, please all buyers.
Returns of used or modified products aren´t accepted.
6. Electronic Complaints Book
The ACV - Production and Trade of Talha Wines, Lda., Owner of this store ACV - Talha Wines, informs that under the Law, and in addition to having a Complaint Book in its physical stores, also has a Complaint Book Electronic, which can be accessed at www.livroderaclamações.pt.
The Electronic Complaints Book allows consumers and users, among other tools, to submit complaints in a dematerialized way, with the same value as complaints submitted in physical format.
7. Applicable Law
Purchases made at ACV - Talha Wines are subject to Portuguese law. Any conflict or divergence of interpretation of these Online Terms and Conditions of sale will be submitted to the competent Portuguese court.
If the customer resides outside mainland Portugal, ACV - Vinhos de Talha informs that any legal proceedings must be exclusively brought before the portuguese courts.
These Terms and Conditions may change without notice and you should consult them before making any purchase.
